How Willis Won the 2026 Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final
The final took place on Saturday, October 24, in front of a sold-out Hallenstadion, at the first World Final ever held in Switzerland. Sixteen dancers from around the world faced off in one-on-one battles to surprise music revealed only when each battle begins, and Willis beat Yoon Ji in the last round. Red Bull reported the result without giving the final score.

Who Is Willis, the 16-Year-Old Red Bull Dance Your Style Champion
Willis is a hip-hop dancer from France. At just 16, he steps onto the international stage, and his road to the title began at the pre-finals on October 21 and 22 at the Schiffbau in Zurich, where about 60 dancers fought for eight spots. Red Bull did not give his full name or any quotes from him after the win.

How the Crowd Voted: 80% in the Arena and 20% on YouTube
Red Bull Dance Your Style has no judges: the crowd decides. This year brought a first, because from the quarterfinals on, viewers of the YouTube livestream could vote through the chat. Those votes counted for 20% of the result, while the 80% came from the people in the arena, who raised red or blue wristbands after each battle.

Eight came through the pre-finals: Sharay (Colombia, freestyle), Happyfeet (New Zealand, hip-hop and freestyle), Yoon Ji (South Korea, waacking), Slayer (UK, popping and contemporary), Lil Syd (Austria, hip-hop), Hector (Denmark, hip-hop), Willis (France, hip-hop) and Ringo Winbee (Japan, popping). The other eight were international wildcards: Candyman, Stalamuerte, Capjay, Locker Zee, Limpopo Boy, Xelyna, SonYa and Chaa.
Swiss wildcard Stalamuerte stood out, reaching the semifinals. His battle against Slayer was, according to Red Bull, probably the best of the night. Colombia’s Sharay Posada, from Cali, was also in Zurich as national champion, and El Tiempo told her story. The sources we found do not say how far she went.
